John and Pam Donoghue have been an integral part of the mission of FeedNC for man years. Their faith
leads them to offer their time, talents and treasures to mission focused organizations in our community
that are dear to their hearts. When FeedNC began the journey to build a new home, John generously offered to become the capital campaign chair to assist in lead the charge in telling the community about the need for increased space for the mission of FeedNC and to offer his passion for the project. John’s leadership was the primary reason that the campaign was successful. The Donoghue family expressed interest in naming the new community dining space at FeedNC and thus Donoghue’s Open Door Community Dining and Events was born. The name of the program speaks to John’s commitment to helping those in need, offering opportunities for change, and providing an open door to anyone who is interested in sharing healthy food with good people. Donoghue’s Open Door will become a gathering place in our community where meaningful relationships begin and opportunities abound. We can’t wait to meet you at Donoghue’s.
